Beginnings...

I've never really been into blogging... However, since I'm going to be heading off to Moscow for the month of June, I thought that this might be a good time to start. As for the title...any Tolkien fan will recognize it as Bilbo's walking song as he leaves the Shire in The Fellowship of the Ring. Here are the full lyrics...

The Road goes ever on and on

Down from the door where it began.

Now far ahead the Road has gone,

And I must follow, if I can,

Pursuing it with eager feet,

Until it joins some larger way

Where many paths and errands meet.

And whither then? I cannot say.

Great for anytime you travel but also a wonderful metaphor for the grander journey known as 'Life.' So, here I go, on and on down the road....
